Ok so Mail me art is a competition run by the people who run little chimp society. Basically what happens is you get a package or envelope and use it as a canvas for a piece and send it off to them. They give monthly prizes and there's an exhibition and book at the end. So anyway I thought I'd give it a go even though I was leaving it a bit late. I'd wanted to do a collage piece for ages so this is how I approached it and turned the envelope into a block of swiss cheese with some mice inside the holes doing different stuff. I thought I had made a mess of it half way through but it actually turned out better than I had hoped in the end. So I sent it off yesterday and my fingers are crossed that it reaches them by the January 31st closing date and that it doesn't fall apart in the post. Had good fun making it even if it doesn't make it and sure isn't that the most important part!
