Right, this is supposed to be gimli from lord of the rings but it can be hagar the horrible, sven the flatulent or whoever you want it to be.I've been tinkering around with colouring and digital painting.I wanted this to be more of a painting but it ended up being more of an airbrush colour job although I am happy enough with the colours. so there. think the big crow quill lines kinda hinder the painted look but I like them too.tried colouring yhtm but didn't look so good.anyway trial and error my friends.let me know what you think. later.

I actually think that kinda line is a nice juxtaposition against those pastel-ey tones, works fer me. Like Galvin said, definite improvement there. Nice work.

I like the subtle scratches and whatnot. I agree with Moondog, the light colour tones highlight the linewok, and vice versa.
